About Me!

Introduction

My name is William. On the internet I choose to go by WP instead of my real FULL name so I don't accidentally share too much info about myself. I usually focus on working on my games, my animation and drawing skills, or my school work. Alot of the time I try my best on school work, but my best isn't exactly up to standard. But I still do my best and try to learn more, because if I don't I won't have time for anything else.

I don't really have many friends, I mean don't get me wrong, I HAVE friends. It's just i don't really think that many of them really consider ME a friend, I think they just became friends with me because they either felt bad or they thought "hmm.. If I be friends with the weird kid, then I'll seem so nice and cool!" That's not really how it works, but who am I to correct them? I don't really mind anyway because I enjoy being able to do my own thing while they entertain eachother, it's fun. It's not like im hurting anything by staying friends with them. But enough with the introduction, onto my music taste.

Music Taste

My music taste mostly consists of rock and metal. I know, that's kind of expected from a person who dresses like me. (example soon to be added) But it's more deep than that, my music taste was actually kind of passed down onto me from my parents. My dad would constantly blast Five Finger Death Punch (FFDP) in the car with my mom, so I now like FFDP. Along with Ozzy Osbourne, Guns & Roses, Motley Crue, and alot more. But my mom passed down NU metal and Industrial rock, so now I like artists like KMFDM, NIN (Nine Inch Nails), Pigface, Korn, SOAD (System Of A Down), Limp Bizkit, et cetera.

But there is one band, one song that will FOREVER be listed at the top of my favorites. And that band and song is Classics Of Love by Common Rider. The reason why i will forever have this song as my number one, is because my mom would always play it when I would wait for the bus in the morning when I was younger. I think about back then alot when I listen to that song again, I believe that a bit of my soul is trapped there, and when I listen to that song now, it's the only time i get it back for a while. But I don't mind if thats true, we all tend to leave things behind, even if it's a part of ourself we never even knew existed until now.

Interests

Horror

Almost my favorite thing ever, Horror! It is a good genre of anything in my opinion! Books, Movies, Video Games, Podcasts! Theres so much that you could incorporate horror into! You could even put it into board games (An example is the Nightmare On Elms street board game from 1987.) Horror has been my favorite genre for longer than i could remember. I think it started with my mom bringing me to the haunted house she and my family used to work at. She was walking with little baby me in her arms and a scare actor popped out and tried to scare me! But i just laughed at the dude, and he said "Man I can't even scare a baby! I suck at this!".

Psychological Effects of Different Things on the Human Mind

For this one, I'll just talk about mass hysteria, and what tends to cause it. Mass hysteria doesn't have a single cause, it can happen to anybody. It tends to come around with headaches, dizziness, and fainting. A good example of mass hysteria is the Dancing Plague from 1518. It started with someone named Trau Toffea dancing in the street, and they wouldn't stop no matter what happened. And people started to join them. By the time August arrived, around 400 people had been caught up in this dance, many died from exhaustion.

Now, i do want to say that mass hysteria is pretty rare, but the chances of it happening are NOT zero, it could happen anytime, it could happen now! No one knows when the next time mass hysteria will come afoot. Some people who experience it may not even notice it is happening to them. It could be happening to you or me, and we might not even notice it until it's over. But let's not focus on that too much.

Jellyfish

I really like jellyfish. There is so many different kinds! My personal favorite is the Giant Phantom Jellyfish (Stygiomedusa gigantea). Like most jellyfish, it is usually found in the deep ocean, specifically the bathypelagic zone of the ocean, right below the mesopelagic zone, and right above the abyssopelagic zone. It is one of the most elusive and infrequently seen jellyfish, mostly because of the fact its lifespan is thought to be only 6 months. It is over 33 feet long and it has virtually no predators. It also doesnt have any stinging cells, it uses four massive ribbon-like arms to catch its food, which mostly consists of small fish and plankton, which is why it is considered a predator.

Art

A lot of people are interested in art, but not many think they can go far with it. But it's really not that hard when you think about it. All you really have to do is put a pencil to paper or put a digital pen to a digital drawing pad. I personally do traditional art (pen/pencil on paper) and digital art. I don't really like people who generate art with AI. Everytime I look at a picture of that, I just see that there is no soul put into it, no heart, it's just weird to look at AI art for me. And I personally think that alot of people could do it themselves, they just are too lazy to do so.

Game Design/Developing games.

I personally have just started with game development, I find it hard, but fun. For right now I mostly focus on the building part, because when you start off with building, you get better at it. And I have been getting better at my building. I've actually been doing pretty well, but its obvious I'm not a pro. And that's okay, because I'm not a pro. But im sure that might change with more practice.

Coding

Coding can be either pretty hard or pretty easy, depending on how you learn it, where you learn it, and if you have any background knowledge on it. There is thousands of people out there who couldn't dream of knowing how to code. But I personally love coding, and to others i suggest starting with HTML and CSS coding. I am pretty sure it is one of the easiest kinds of coding out there, aside from block coding. I have a class that i take that teaches me how to code. I am doing quite well i believe, but sometimes i do get a little caught up in a few problems. But thats how coding is, coding is meant to have a few mistakes every once in a while because no one is perfect.
